Colour: Deep amber with warm coppery highlights.

Nose: Tropical fruits, tobacco and orange peel, accompanied by honey and subtle notes of bergamot.

Palate: Full-bodied and fruity-sweet, with chocolate, honey and raisins, complemented by orange peel and coconut.

Finish: Long-lasting and warming, with honey, delicate fruit and a subtle hint of pepper.

Rum Nation Panama 18 Years Old is best enjoyed neat at around 18–20 °C, allowing the honey, bergamot and long-aged cask notes in particular to develop slowly. It is best to avoid serving this bottling on the rocks, so as to appreciate the finer tobacco and fruit nuances as unaltered as possible. It pairs well with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, raisins, candied orange peel or desserts featuring honey and coconut.
