Nuestra Soledad Mezcal Joven San Luis del Río 48% vol. 0.7 l is an exceptional mezcal from the renowned Nuestra Soledad range, which is characterised by the diversity of its flavours and terroirs. This series comprises mezcals all produced from the same ‘Espadín’ agave variety, yet sourced from six different regions of Oaxaca. Each region brings its own character and traditions to the mezcal, allowing the drinker to immerse themselves in the diverse flavour profiles of Mexico. The San Luis del Río Mezcal comes from a small village in the east of Oaxaca’s Valles Centrales region, nestled amongst the mountains and situated near the Río Hormiga Colorada (Red Ant River).

The mezcal is produced with great care and dedication by the experienced master distillers Rafael Méndez and Javier Nolasco at the Del Río distillery. The production process follows traditional methods, in which the Espadín agave is roasted in stone ovens and then distilled in copper stills. With an alcohol content of 48% vol., this mezcal offers a powerful intensity that perfectly showcases the complex, smoky and sweet aromas of the agave. The limited edition of just 1,650 bottles makes this mezcal a particularly exclusive treat.
