Underberg Natural Herbal Digestif 44% ABV 12 x 0.02 l online kaufen

Underberg Natural Herbal Digestif 44% vol. 12 x 0.02 l – a traditional herbal digestif that has been produced since 1846 according to a secret family recipe. Its unique blend of herbs comes from 43 countries and is processed using a complex method to preserve the valuable essential oils and natural flavours as effectively as possible. Maturation in oak barrels gives Underberg its characteristic balance of flavours, combining a tangy spiciness, subtle bitterness and gentle, earthy notes.

The handy pack of 12 contains the iconic 0.02-litre single-serve bottles, which are perfect for enjoying after a meal or whilst out and about. Thanks to the precise dosage, you always get the ideal amount for a digestif. Underberg contains no artificial flavours, colours or additives and is made exclusively from natural ingredients.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber-brown, with warm golden highlights.

Nose: An intense herbal aroma, earthy and spicy, with hints of cinnamon, cloves and subtle woody notes.

Palate: Full-bodied, dry, with complex herbal nuances, a subtle bittersweetness and woody accents.

Finish: Long-lasting, warm, spicy, with pleasantly bitter and slightly sweet herbal flavours.

Underberg is traditionally enjoyed neat as a digestif after a hearty meal – either chilled or at room temperature. However, it also adds an exciting, herbal note when used as an ingredient in modern cocktails. Combined with tonic water or ginger beer, it makes a refreshing aperitif with a tangy, spicy flavour. It also pairs superbly with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or mature cheese to further highlight its intense flavours.
