Description
Description
Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.
At the heart of this liqueur are the pistachio kernels that grow on the Sicilian volcano Etna. After harvesting, the pistachios are processed using traditional methods and refined into a fine paste. The skilful combination of this paste with alcohol, water, sugar and a touch of grappa creates an exceptional and unique liqueur that perfectly captures the unmistakable flavour of Etna pistachios.
