The Cihuatán 12 Years CINABRIO Rum El Salvador 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is a premium rum from Destilería Cihuatán, the only rum distillery in El Salvador. This distillery combines traditional craftsmanship with the country's rich cultural history and incorporates the mysticism of the Maya into its products. The name "Cinabrio" refers to the mineral cinnabar, which in Mayan culture symbolised the sun and stood for energy and life. It is precisely this guiding principle that is reflected in the intense aroma and warm, deep colour of the rum.


Cihuatán 12 Year Old Rum matures for at least twelve years in selected ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak. This long ageing process gives it a complex structure with a balance of sweet, spicy and woody nuances. At 40% vol., it is powerful yet pleasantly smooth, making it an excellent choice for both connoisseurs and connoisseurs who want to try their hand at premium rum.
