The Machir Bay is predominantly composed of malts aged for around six years and has matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, supplemented by a smaller proportion of Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled without chill filtration and without colouring, thereby preserving its texture as well as all the aroma-giving oils and esters. The Gift Pack is aimed at both Islay newcomers and experienced connoisseurs alike, and is ideal as a high-quality gift or a stylish addition to one’s own bar.

Colour: Light gold, a natural result of cask maturation.

Nose: Sweetish smoke, lemon, lime, a hint of the sea.
