Ron Vacilón rum originates from the charming town of Remedios, in the heart of Cuba. Remedios is not only a small colonial town, but also the third-oldest town in Cuba. The Destilería Heriberto Duquesne was founded in 1956 and has since built up a first-class reputation. Since 2017, this rum has also crossed Cuba’s borders and is now winning the hearts of rum lovers worldwide.

The sugar cane used for this rum thrives in perfect harmony with nature and benefits from the region’s unique climatic conditions. The distillery adds no additional caramel colouring to the Reserva Especial and places the utmost importance on purity and quality throughout the entire production process.

However, the true magic of this rum unfolds during its 18-year ageing in American white oak casks. This long ageing period lends the rum an unrivalled depth and complexity, making it a true delight for discerning connoisseurs.
