Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is a company belonging to the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, which is also known as the Silicon Valley of India.
The group was founded in 1948 by Mr Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small spirits blending and bottling plant.
Amrut Whisky is proud to be the first single malt whisky from India. Its name translates as ‘nectar of the gods/of life’ and reflects the exceptional quality and enjoyment of this whisky.
This peated single malt is matured in oak casks and retains its characteristic cask strength. Unchill-filtered and free from artificial colourings, it is bottled in its natural colour.

Tasting Note
Colour: Gold. Nose: Dry peat, leather, a hint of citrus. Palate: Dry, spicy, molasses, peaty notes. Finish: Long-lasting, butterscotch, vanilla, a hint of phenol.
