The Château Cissac Haut-Médoc 2017 is a classic, elegant Bordeaux wine from the renowned Haut-Médoc appellation. Château Cissac, a traditional estate with a long history, is renowned for its high-quality, age-worthy red wines, which are characterised by an excellent balance between structure, fruit and tannins.

The 2017 vintage impresses with a skilful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, which lends this wine its powerful yet harmonious style. Ageing in oak barrels adds further depth of flavour and elegant spice.

With an alcohol content of 13% vol., this Haut-Médoc is a classic Bordeaux-style wine – structured, complex and with impressive ageing potential.

Tasting Note

In the glass, the Château Cissac Haut-Médoc 2017 displays a deep ruby red colour with violet highlights. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of blackcurrants, cherries and plums, accompanied by subtle notes of cedarwood, vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is powerful, with lovely freshness and fine tannins. Aromas of dark berries, cassis and dried herbs are complemented by elegant spice and subtle toasted notes. The finish is long and harmonious, with hints of chocolate and black pepper.
