Flora and Fauna, a nickname given to the late whisky author Michael Jackson, was a themed series of single malt whisky bottlings released by distilleries only.

Each distillery was given a particular creature to symbolise, elegantly depicted on the beautiful label of each bottle.

Over time, as distilleries were commercialised, closed or sold, the range of flora and fauna dwindled, leaving these select remaining bottles as collector's items.

The Benrinnes 15 Years Old is a rich, sweet and smooth single malt whisky that allows the fresh, green-estery Speyside characteristics to soak into its dark flavours.

This beautifully textured single malt is rich and luscious with spicy umami characteristics.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright mahogany.

Nose: Rich, floral, slightly smoky, chocolate, notes of sherry flavours, leather, oil.

Flavour: Full-bodied, smooth, sweet, rum-like.

Finish: Langs, dry, peat smoke, sherry.

Benrinnes is best served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a little water.
