On the wild and romantic coast of the Isle of Skye, south of Dunvegan, lies the picturesque, snow-white Talisker distillery, which was founded in 1831 by two brothers. Following their deaths, numerous successors attempted to run the distillery successfully, but all failed. It was only a financial administrator and a wine and spirits merchant who succeeded in taking it over. Following a devastating fire in 1960, the distillery was faithfully rebuilt.

Talisker Storm is created through maturation in oak casks of varying ages, which gives it its distinctive, complex character. This special selection of casks results in a stormy, robust flavour that impressively captures the wild and unpredictable climate of the Isle of Skye.

With its smoky spiciness and maritime notes, Talisker Storm reflects the island’s powerful natural character and offers an intense taste experience that perfectly expresses the connection between the whisky and its surroundings.

Nose: Complex, smoky, with a metallic note.
