Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to develop. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Bottega ROSSO Vermouth is made from an exquisite selection of Merlot grapes from a particularly renowned growing area. This vermouth owes its unmistakable character to a natural extract based on an original and secret recipe. This recipe includes a harmonious combination of 30 different herbs, flowers and spices, including absinthe, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, gentian root, marjoram, nutmeg and radicchio.



These carefully selected ingredients give the Vermouth its unique depth and complexity.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Bottega ROSSO presents itself in a bright ruby red colour with shiny reflections. The nose is caressed by an intense aroma of red fruit, especially cherry and raspberry, as well as nuances of spicy herbs and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it is balanced between sweet and tart, with a harmonious combination of fruitiness and the bittersweet notes of herbs. The aftertaste is pleasantly long and leaves a refreshing note.

Bottega ROSSO Vermouth is ideal as an aperitif or digestif and can be enjoyed neat or over ice. It is also an ideal base for classic cocktails such as the Negroni or Manhattan, where it adds a deeper layer of flavour and aromatic complexity. This Vermouth is an excellent accompaniment to starters such as antipasti or light meat dishes. Bottega ROSSO can also offer a surprisingly harmonious flavour experience in combination with dark chocolate.
