After a double distillation in copper stills, pure eaux-de-vie is produced, which serves as the basis for this Cognac.

The Hennessy Very Special matures for over eight years in French oak barrels, developing a remarkable complexity and depth. The maturation in oak barrels gives it a balance of fruity and woody notes, making it a smooth and full-bodied pleasure. With an alcohol content of 40% vol., this cognac is strong, yet soft and smooth in flavour.

Tasting Note

Colour: Amber with golden reflections.

Nose: Aromas of fresh fruit, especially apples and pears, accompanied by a fine woody note and a hint of spices.

Flavour: Full-bodied and well-balanced with notes of vanilla, oak and a hint of cinnamon. The fruity sweetness is supported by a gentle spiciness.

Finish: Langs and harmonious with a pleasant oak spice and a subtle fruity note.
