Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva Ron Antiguo is a renowned Venezuelan rum, known for its full-bodied, traditional style. The blend consists of 80 per cent full-bodied rums and 20 per cent lighter rums, resulting in a particularly full-bodied yet well-balanced blend. The distillates used have been aged for up to 12 years. In this bottling, Diplomático combines different rum styles to create a complex cuvée, in which the heavier components in particular provide depth and structure. The Reserva Exclusiva thus embodies a classic Venezuelan rum style with a distinctive character and long cask maturation.

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Distinctive and complex, with ripe fruit, raisins, cocoa and cinnamon, accompanied by cloves and a warm sweetness.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth with tropical fruit, dark chocolate and creamy caramel toffee, complemented by subtle spicy notes.

Finish: Long-lasting and intense with dark orange chocolate, caramel and a subtle, lingering spiciness.

The Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva is particularly well suited to being enjoyed neat at room temperature, whilst the 0.05-litre miniature bottle is ideal for a solo tasting or a rum tasting session.
