Burschik's Classic Vermouth is a tribute to the traditional Viennese vermouth culture. Made according to a tried and tested recipe dating back to 1891, this vermouth combines first-class wines with a sophisticated blend of herbs, spices and bitters.

The base is a high-quality white wine from Austria, which is flavoured with a carefully balanced selection of botanicals such as wormwood, gentian root, coriander and orange peel. The result is a well-balanced vermouth with a subtle bitter note, elegant sweetness and complex flavour.

The 16% alcohol content allows the flavour to unfold particularly intensely, making this Vermouth a real highlight both on its own and in cocktails. The Viennese Burschik manufactory is one of the oldest vermouth producers in Austria and focuses on handcrafted perfection, which is reflected in every bottle.

Tasting Note

In the glass, Burschik's Vermouth Classic has a light golden colour with light amber reflections. Fresh citrus notes unfold on the nose, accompanied by delicately spicy herbal nuances and subtle hints of wormwood. On the palate, there is a harmonious balance between sweet and bitter Elements, with flavours of orange peel, vanilla, gentian and a hint of caramel. The long, elegant finish is rounded off with a fine herbal note.

This classic vermouth is ideal as an aperitif, either neat on ice or with a splash of soda and a zest of orange. In cocktails, it makes a sophisticated ingredient for a Negroni, a Manhattan or a classic Vermouth & Tonic. It can also be used in a variety of ways in fine dining, for example to refine sauces or as an aromatic base for innovative cocktail creations.
