Mama Quilla XA Ron Extra Añejo is an exceptional rum from Guatemala, which, with an alcohol content of 40 % vol., offers a particularly rich and complex tasting experience. The name ‘Mama Quilla’ is inspired by the goddess of the moon in Inca mythology, one of the three most important goddesses in the Inca pantheon, which lends this rum a mystical and special significance. This premium rum is produced in Guatemala, a country renowned for its outstanding rums, and is subsequently aged in the Charente region of France, where it acquires its characteristic depth and sophistication in carefully selected cognac casks.
Mama Quilla XA Extra Añejo Rum is the result of a long ageing process, which gives it a complex array of flavours that are both sweet and spicy. Ageing in cognac casks creates an elegant blend of fruity, woody and slightly spicy notes, making this rum a perfect treat for connoisseurs and lovers of fine spirits. This rum is excellent served neat or on the rocks to allow its complex flavours to unfold fully. The 0.7-litre bottle also makes it an ideal gift for special occasions.

Finish: Long and warm with a soft, slightly sweet aftertaste of caramel and spices.
Mama Quilla XA Extra Añejo Rum is excellent enjoyed neat or with an ice cube to bring out its complex flavours. It pairs excellently with dark chocolate, particularly varieties with a high cocoa content, as well as with smoked meats or strong cheeses such as blue cheese. A strong espresso or nuts such as almonds and walnuts also complement this rum perfectly.
