Rammstein Irish Whiskey is an extraordinary spirit that reflects the wild energy and charismatic style of the famous German rock band Rammstein. Rammstein Irish Whiskey originates from Ireland and is a carefully crafted blend that combines the subtleties of two distillation processes: it consists of a triple-distilled grain whiskey and a double-distilled malt whiskey. It is matured in ex-bourbon casks over a period of 10 years, which imparts rich notes of vanilla and oak. It is then given a further maturation of at least six months in ex-sherry casks, which imparts its distinctive fruity and nutty aromas, making the whisky particularly well-rounded and complex.

This whisky offers a balanced yet powerful tasting experience. The 43% ABV ensures an ideal balance between the whisky’s spiciness and the fruitiness from the sherry casks, making it a true tribute to the band – powerful, complex and unique.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden amber, with a slight coppery sheen that reflects its maturation in casks.

Nose: Aromas of caramel and vanilla, accompanied by oak and a hint of spiced fruits such as plums and dried figs, which highlight the sherry finish.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, with a harmonious blend of fruity flavours of apples and cherries, which combine with the woody and nutty notes of oak and the spice from the bourbon cask maturation.

Finish: Lang and warm, with a gentle sherry sweetness and a subtle, nutty note of oak and vanilla that lingers pleasantly.

Rammstein Irish Whiskey is perfect for enjoying neat or on the rocks, allowing its complex flavours to unfold fully. This whiskey pairs superbly with mature cheeses such as Cheddar or Gouda, smoked salmon or grilled meat. This whisky also complements dark chocolate, caramel desserts or fruity tarts such as apple strudel perfectly, providing a harmonious finish to an elegant dinner.
