The family-run Hörhan business, based in Unterwaltersdorf, Lower Austria, is now in its third generation. Sabine and Engelbert Hörhan run the company with great dedication, whilst their son Matthias works as a passionate distiller and head of marketing. Matthias has been experimenting with various distillation methods since the age of 16 and has also qualified as a fine spirits sommelier.

With the creation of his gin, Matthias brings the motto ‘Real Gin. Pure Life’ to life in an impressive way. This dry gin, painstakingly crafted by hand, contains 15 carefully selected botanicals that give it its unique flavour. Pura Vida Gin is bottled unfiltered and unadulterated in traditional stoneware jugs and sealed with wax. This authentically handcrafted gin is a true meisterwerk.
