The Knockando distillery, situated on the banks of the River Spey, is renowned for its particularly smooth, finely structured whiskies. Tasting Note

Colour: Rich gold with an amber sheen.

Nose: Fruity and well-balanced with notes of dried fruit, vanilla, sweet malt, nutty wood and a hint of sherry.

Palate: Round and full-bodied with flavours of honey, caramel, raisins, spices and subtle toasted notes.

Finish: Medium to long, smooth and warm with oak, vanilla and a hint of dark chocolate.

Best enjoyed neat in a nosing glass at room temperature. Thanks to its balanced flavour profile, the Knockando 15 Years is also an excellent accompaniment to a mild cigar, fine pastries or a selection of nuts and dried fruit.
