The limited edition of the Tomintoul 15 Years Old, which was specially released in 2006 to achieve a unique character through a port cask finish, honours the deep-rooted tradition and craft heritage of Master Distiller Robert Fleming, whose family has been involved in whisky-making for four generations.

The selected single malt for this edition, distilled in 2006, was first matured in ex-bourbon casks, which gave it a solid foundation of rich flavours and a smooth texture. In a carefully monitored process, the second stage of maturation then took place in the finest port casks, specially sourced from Portugal to lend the whisky additional complexity and depth.

Only 9,762 bottles of this limited edition were bottled, making it a collector’s item for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Fruity, with notes of cherries, stewed fruit and chocolate.

Palate: Fruity, spicy, sweet, with notes of cherry liqueur, chocolate, rhubarb and biscuits.

Finish: Long-lasting, dark chocolate, cinnamon.
