The Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky combines three selected cask types – Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez (PX) and Moscatel sherry casks – to create a complex, sherry-influenced whisky profile. This combination creates a harmonious blend of ripe dried fruit, delicate caramel notes and the elegance typical of Kavalan, which is attributable to Taiwan’s warm, humid climate and the rapid pace of cask maturation there. Each component of the Triple Sherry Cask contributes to the depth of this bottling and lends it a structured complexity that develops naturally through prolonged cask maturation. The reddish-brown hue and the high-quality gift box underline the prestige of this edition.


The interplay of the three sherry types results in a characterful single malt which, thanks to the influences of Oloroso, PX and Moscatel, displays a particularly balanced interplay of sweetness, spice and fruit. Tasting Note

Colour: Reddish-brown.

Nose: Ripe berries and dried fruit, grapes, citrus, chocolate brownie, toffee, cinnamon, clover, spices, rosemary.

Palate: Sherry-style dried fruit, candied fruit, caramel, honey; warm and smooth with a gentle texture.

Finish: Long-lasting, harmonious and complex.

This single malt pairs superbly with fig compote, dark chocolate, dark chocolate tart, date pastries, hazelnut pralines and brownies, whose sweet and nutty notes complement its sherry-infused character. It is equally well-suited to mature Manchego, Mimolette or mild blue cheese, which contrast with its fruity and spicy character. As an accompaniment to cosy evenings, quiet moments or as an elegant digestif, this whisky perfectly showcases its long-lasting, harmonious depth, particularly when enjoyed neat or with a mild cigar.
