Huckleberry Gin Liqueur is the result of an extraordinary friendship and a creative idea that was born over a glass of gin and tonic on a legendary evening. Max and Jens, the founders of Huckleberry Gin, wanted more than just an idea - they wanted to create a unique gin inspired by friendship. A friend finally brought his uncle into play, who runs a third-generation distillery in the Black Forest. Another creative friend designed the label, which gives the gin a unique character with its free drawing.

This gin liqueur is lovingly distilled three times by hand and contains 22 carefully selected botanicals that are responsible for its special flavour. The gin is based on classic ingredients such as juniper berries, angelica root, coriander seeds, ginger root, cinnamon and a hint of lavender, which provide the typical gin flavour. Lemon peel, elderflower, hop blossom, peppermint and raspberries are also added for the fruity component of the gin. The leading botanical of the gin, the blueberry, is particularly noteworthy, rounding off the gin in the final distillation and giving it an unmistakable fruity flavour. In the gin liqueur, the blueberry is further combined with the gin, giving it a natural sweetness and a deep red colour.

This Huckleberry Gin Liqueur is aimed at friends who like it naturally sweet and want to enjoy a special drink without flavour enhancers and artificial ingredients. The natural sweetness of the blueberries makes it an ideal companion for cocktails or on its own over ice.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep red with purple reflections.

Nose: Fresh aromas of blueberries, lavender and a delicate citrus note, accompanied by a subtle minty freshness and a hint of spice.

Flavour: Soft and fruity, with a pronounced blueberry note surrounded by raspberries, peppermint and a light spiciness. A gentle hint of cinnamon and lavender rounds off the flavour perfectly.

Finish: Langs and sweet, with a pleasant fruity aftertaste that is accompanied by fresh berries and a slight sweetness.

Huckleberry Gin Liqueur is perfect on its own or on ice to fully enjoy the natural flavours of blueberries. It can also be combined wonderfully in cocktails such as a gin Fizzers or gin and tonic, harmonising particularly well with tonic water, which enhances the fruity and sweet notes. The liqueur also goes perfectly with fruity desserts such as cheesecake, meringue or chocolate desserts.
