Dellavalle GRAPPA MOSCATO Gran Cuvée 42% vol. 0.7 l

The Dellavalle Grappa Moscato Gran Cuvée is an exquisite grappa from the renowned Distilleria Dellavalle, situated in the picturesque region of Piedmont in Italy. Since its foundation in 1983 by the oenologist Roberto Dellavalle, the distillery has specialised in the production of single-varietal grappa, using only pomace from a single grape variety.

For this special grappa, fresh pomace from the Moscato grape is carefully selected. Distillation takes place in traditional, batch-type stills, ensuring gentle processing and preserving the grape’s characteristic aromas. The grappa is then aged for at least 18 months in new oak casks, giving it its harmonious structure and depth.

With an alcohol content of 42% vol., this fine spirit is presented in an elegant 0.7-litre bottle.

Tasting Note

Colour: Golden.

Nose: Intense aromas of Muscat grapes, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of honey.

Palate: Smooth and rounded with a pleasant sweetness reminiscent of ripe fruit, complemented by a delicate spiciness.

Finish: Long-lasting and elegant with a subtle hint of almond.

To enjoy the full spectrum of flavours of Dellavalle Grappa Moscato Gran Cuvée, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of around 16–18°C in a tulip-shaped glass. Before drinking, allow the grappa to breathe for a few minutes so that the aromas can develop to their full potential.

This grappa is ideal as a digestif after a fine meal and pairs particularly well with desserts such as lemon tart, panna cotta or fresh fruit salad. It also reveals its full potential when paired with mild goat’s cheese or white chocolate. For creative connoisseurs, there is the option of using the grappa in cocktails or as an aromatic ingredient in fine dining.
