Bunnahabhain 40 Years Old Limited Edition 41.9% vol. 0.7 l in a wooden box online kaufen

The Bunnahabhain Distillery, situated on the picturesque coast of the Isle of Islay, was founded in 1881 and is renowned for its unique, unpeated whiskies. The distillery originally relied on maritime trade and experienced a turning point in 1960 with the construction of a new road, which improved logistics. Following a brief closure in the 1930s and the last ship’s arrival in 1993, the road became the main supply route. In 2006, following its acquisition by Burn Stewart Distillers, the brand’s image underwent a modern revamp. The water used for the whiskies comes from calcareous springs and is channelled to the distillery without coming into contact with peat, which gives the whiskies their mild, characteristic flavour.

Bunnahabhain 40 Years Old is an exquisite limited edition, presented in an elegant wooden box. This special bottling tells the multifaceted story of the Bunnahabhain distillery, which is artfully depicted on the bottle label.

With a strictly limited run of just 750 bottles, this whisky not only embodies the distillery’s craftsmanship and tradition, but also offers a unique tasting experience that delights connoisseurs and collectors alike.
