GlenAllachie’s Master Distiller, Billy Walker, spends countless hours in the distillery’s warehouses, carefully inspecting the more than 40,000 casks on site. This demanding task requires not only expertise but also perseverance – yet his efforts pay off in the outstanding results that emerge.

The GlenAllachie Distillery deliberately bucks the trend towards corporate mergers and consolidation and, as an independent Scottish company, remains true to its core values: the production of outstanding whiskies and a zest for life. This GlenAllachie whisky embodies this tradition by being crafted exclusively from the finest casks.

The whisky is matured for over 8 years in a carefully selected range of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry puncheons, virgin oak casks and red wine barriques, lending it a unique depth and complexity.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Spicy, with notes of cinnamon, nuts, honey and butterscotch.

Palate: Sweet, spicy, with notes of honey, butterscotch and apples.

Finish: Long-lasting.
