This 8-year-old expression is primarily matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheons and Oloroso sherry puncheons, complemented by a smaller proportion of virgin oak casks and red wine barriques. This cask blend underlines GlenAllachie’s consistent focus on innovative wood and maturation concepts.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bronze with warm golden highlights.

Nose: Heather honey, butterscotch and cinnamon, followed by ginger, toasted almonds and mocha.

Palate: Rich molasses and dried sultanas blend with butterscotch, cinnamon, peppermint and sweet honeycomb.

Finish: Long-lasting and warming, with sweet spices, delicate dried fruit and lingering notes of honey.
