The Glencadam Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery in the town of Brechin, Angus, Scotland. It is one of the country’s oldest distilleries and was founded in 1825. Glencadam is renowned for producing single malt Scotch whisky. The distillery is situated near the east coast of Scotland, in the Highlands. It draws its water from nearby Loch Lee and relies on traditional methods in the production of its whiskies. Glencadam has a relatively small production capacity, which allows it to pay close attention to detail and prioritise quality.

The Glencadam Small Batch AMERICAN OAK Reserve Bourbon Barrel Matured is matured in American white oak casks.

Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant amber.

Nose: Sweet, fruity, with notes of vanilla pods, buttercream, fruit, raisins and Turkish delight.

Palate: Rich, smooth, with notes of pears, apple blossom, acacia honey, roasted chestnuts, mocha and lemon zest.

Finish: Long-lasting, gingerbread.
