Tenuta di Biserno Bibbona Toscana is an excellent Tuscan red wine that reflects the rich tradition and exceptional terroir of Tuscany. Produced from a carefully selected blend of 40% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, this wine combines the finest characteristics of international grape varieties that thrive perfectly on the region’s clay soils. Following the harvest, the wine is aged for 15 months in new French barriques, which gives it a complex structure and rich aromas of vanilla and spices. The wine is then left to mature for a further 12 months in the bottle to harmonise the flavours and achieve a perfect balance between fruitiness and elegance.

This wine is sealed with a natural cork to preserve its quality and freshness over the years. With its finely balanced ageing and unique terroir, the Tenuta di Biserno Bibbona is a remarkable wine that delights both in its youth and as it matures.

Tasting Note

An intense ruby red with purple highlights in the glass. The nose is enticed by a wealth of aromas, including ripe black fruits such as blackberries, cherries and plums, which blend with spicy notes of tobacco, black pepper and cedar. A hint of vanilla and delicate toasted notes from barrel ageing complement the complexity of the bouquet. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a fresh, elegant acidity. The fruit notes continue and harmonise perfectly with the spicy and woody aromas. The finish is long and full, with lovely depth and a subtle, spicy aftertaste.

This wine is an ideal accompaniment to rich dishes such as beef fillet, lamb or game, particularly roe deer or red deer. The Tenuta di Biserno Bibbona also pairs excellently with strong cheeses such as Pecorino, Comté or a mature blue cheese. It is ideal for festive occasions or as an accompaniment to a luxurious dinner.
