The Domaine Eyguebelle distillery, situated in one of France’s most fertile and beautiful fruit-growing regions, has a long history of expansion and innovation. Since its transformation from a factory into a company in 1996, it has borne the name ‘Eyguebelle’, which translates as ‘Beautiful Water’. Over the years, the distillery, together with its spirits brand Aelred, has produced a wide range of syrups, liqueurs and spirits. Collaboration with local producers and the use of authentic distillation techniques are key to maintaining quality.

One of the distillery’s speciality products is an aperitif known as ‘Aelred Melonade L’Aperitif de L’Artisan’, made from ripe Cavaillon melons. These melons are grown in optimal soil conditions in Provence, in the south of France, which gives them a particularly intense aroma.

Tasting Note

Colour: Bright yellow.

Nose: Fresh, full-bodied, with fruity notes of melon and peach.

Palate: Fresh and fruity, with flavours of ripe melon, peaches, sweet grapes and oranges.

Finish: Long-lasting, sweet, juicy.
