The Tullamore Distillery was founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy in Tullamore, County Offaly, a region renowned for its grain cultivation. Later, Tullamore Dew whisky was produced by Irish Distillers in Midleton, where modern production facilities and high quality standards were utilised.

Since 2010, the brand has been part of the Scottish distilling group William Grant & Sons, which also owns Glenfiddich. Today, the whisky is produced at a modern distillery near Tullamore, which opened in 2014. This facility combines traditional production methods with modern technology to ensure the high quality of Tullamore Dew whisky.

Tullamore D.E.W. ROUGE 13 Years Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is matured for 13 years in bourbon and sherry casks. The whisky is then finished in ex-Pomerol casks, which previously contained the famous red wine from the Bordeaux region in France.

Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant amber.

Nose: Fruity, with notes of red berries, violets, garden fruits, vanilla and oak.

Palate: Rich, with notes of red wine spice, sour cherry and wood.

Finish: Long-lasting.
