Like all Tamnavulin Whisky bottlings, this Speyside whisky begins its maturation in American ex-bourbon casks, which provide a soft base and a clear structure. This is followed by a finish in Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon white wine casks, integrating the typical flavours of white grapes, citrus fruits and ripe stone fruit into the whisky. Nose: Sweet apple from the orchard, gooseberry, creamy vanilla, pressed grapes, sponge cake with peach syrup, fine camomile notes.

Finish: Smooth, fruity and balanced, with a fresh citrus note and elegant length.

The Tamnavulin White Wine Sauvignon Blanc Cask is ideal to enjoy on its own, especially with light dishes such as goat's cheese, mild soft cheese or dishes with white meat and fine herbs. It also harmonises very well with fish dishes, such as roasted zander or salmon with lemon butter.
