The Glen Scotia 10 Years Old Classic Campbeltown Malt is an expressive single malt whisky from the historic whisky region of Campbeltown on the west coast of Scotland. Campbeltown was once regarded as the ‘whisky capital’ and is now home to just a few, but all the more remarkable, distilleries – including the renowned Glen Scotia Distillery, which traces its history back to 1832.

This 10-year-old expression has been bottled at 40% ABV and matured in first-fill bourbon casks, giving it a balanced combination of vanilla, fruitiness, subtle oak and the maritime character typical of Campbeltown. The whisky is produced using traditional methods and offers a harmonious balance of freshness, depth and a hint of spice – ideal as an introduction to the fascinating world of Campbeltown malts or as a stylish everyday whisky for experienced connoisseurs.

Tasting Note

Colour: Light gold.

Nose: Fresh with notes of citrus, vanilla, a hint of salt, grain and a touch of green apple.

Palate: Balanced and smooth with flavours of honey, vanilla, oak, a hint of pepper and a subtle sea breeze.

Finish: Medium-length, gently spicy with a slight dryness and a maritime aftertaste.

Perfect for enjoying neat or with a few drops of water. Also suitable as an accompaniment to mild cheeses, roasted nuts or fish dishes.
