This seventh edition of the multi-award-winning Batch Strength series is matured exclusively in carefully selected Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez and stands for maximum flavour intensity and authenticity. As an unpeated single malt whisky, it clearly brings the depth of fruit, nut and spice to the fore.


Bottled at batch strength at a robust 57.5 per cent, without chill filtration and in its natural colour, this sherry cask whisky is particularly full-bodied and complex. The intense copper colour highlights the influence of the high-quality casks, whilst the careful selection of each individual Oloroso sherry cask ensures an exceptional balance. The Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 007 impresses with a multi-layered profile of berries, roasted nuts, caramel, citrus and spices, offering a long-lasting, deep tasting experience. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep, natural copper.

Nose: Vanilla sponge, cinnamon, toasted praline.

The Tamdhu Batch Strength No. 007 Speyside Single Malt is excellent enjoyed neat, ideally with a few drops of water, which allows the high alcohol content to open up and brings out the complex flavours even more intensely. On the palate, this sherry cask-matured cask-strength whisky pairs particularly well with desserts such as pavlova with berries, chocolate specialities, caramel biscuits or nut-based desserts. This Speyside whisky also pairs superbly with mature cheeses, dried fruit or fine pralines, complementing the dishes with its deep, spicy and fruity character.
