Loch Lomond The Original Triple Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a striking example of Scottish distilling craftsmanship from the historic Loch Lomond Distillery in the Scottish Highlands. For this bottling, the distillery uses both straight-necked and swan-necked pot stills, enabling it to create different flavour profiles and then skilfully blend them together. After distillation, the whisky matures in a combination of first-fill, refill and recharred American oak casks, which lend it its characteristic depth and harmonious complexity.


It is within these three different cask types that Loch Lomond The Original Triple Oak develops its delicate balance of fruitiness, honeyed sweetness and gentle smokiness. The interplay of fresh wood, toasted oak and re-used casks results in multi-layered flavours and a smooth texture. Master Blender Michael Henry describes this whisky as “a interplay of malt, fruit and subtle smoke – perfectly balanced and elegant”.
