Grand Mayan ULTRA AGED Single Barrel Tequila is a true meisterwerk of the art of tequila-making and ranks amongst the world’s most exclusive ultra-premium tequilas. Produced from the purest blue Weber agave, which grows under optimal conditions in the low mountain ranges of Jalisco, this fine spirit meets the highest production standards. Each batch is distilled using traditional methods and then aged for seven years in a unique combination of ex-French cognac and American bourbon casks. This extended cask ageing lends the tequila its exceptional depth, complexity and an incomparably smooth character.

Based in Guadalajara, Mexico’s tequila capital, Grand Mayan places great importance not only on the quality of its tequila but also on its presentation. Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Rich aromas of vanilla, toasted oak, dark chocolate and dried fruit.

Palate: Full-bodied, velvety and intense – with notes of sweet agave, caramel, honey and a pleasant spiciness from the long cask ageing.

Finish: Elegant, long-lasting and complex, with nuances of oak, toffee and a subtle smoky note.

This exclusive Añejo tequila reveals its full aroma best when served neat, slightly chilled or on the rocks.
