The Kavalan PODIUM Single Malt Whisky 46% vol. 0.7 l + GB is produced by maturing the whisky in a combination of new American oak casks and selected Kavalan refill casks. This variety of casks gives it a clear, aromatically defined structure that harmoniously blends both fruity and woody Elements. Like the King Car Conductor, the Podium is bottled non-chill filtered, ensuring that its natural texture and full character remain unaltered. With an alcohol content of 46 per cent by volume, this Taiwanese single malt whisky displays a balanced and precisely crafted style that clearly reflects the influence of Yilan’s warm, humid climate. Tasting Note

Colour: Brilliant gold.

Nose: Floral notes with honey, vanilla and a hint of tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple.

Palate: Smooth and full-bodied with a pleasant sweetness of caramel and toasted almonds, and a hint of spice from cinnamon and nutmeg.

Finish: Long-lasting with gentle woody and fruity notes, accompanied by a hint of honey.

The Kavalan PODIUM Single Malt is excellent when enjoyed neat, but reveals even more of its multifaceted flavours with a few drops of water.
