This special edition was distilled in 2006 and matured for over 16 years in oak casks before undergoing a special finish in ex-sherry casks. This finishing process gives the rum its characteristic fruity and spicy character, with deep aromas of dark fruits, dried fruit and a hint of sweet sherry. The sherry cask maturation lends it a particularly smooth, velvety texture and a complex flavour profile.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with reddish-golden highlights.

Nose: Aromas of raisins, dried figs, dark chocolate and subtle sherry notes, complemented by a hint of oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of caramel, ripe red fruits, dried fruits, honey and cinnamon.

Finish: Lang, warm and harmonious with a hint of sherry, spices and dark chocolate.
