Inspired by the harmony of a poem, this series combines masterful craftsmanship with the decades of experience of Master Blender Hernan Parra.

This special edition was distilled in 2006 and matured for over 16 years in oak barrels before being given a special finish in ex-sherry casks. This refinement gives the rum its characteristic fruity and spicy character with deep flavours of dark fruit, dried fruit and a hint of sweet sherry. The sherry cask maturation gives it a particularly soft, velvety texture and a complex flavour structure.

Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with reddish-golden reflections.

Nose: Aromas of sultanas, dried figs, dark chocolate and fine sherry notes, complemented by a subtle oak spice.

Flavour: Full-bodied and smooth with notes of caramel, ripe red fruit, dried fruit, honey and cinnamon.

Finish: Langs, warm and harmonious with a hint of sherry, spices and dark chocolate.
