Twenty years ago, Hans Schwarz founded the Schwarz Wein Winery on Lake Neusiedl and turned his passion for wine into a success story. Originally a butcher, he took the plunge and turned his hobby into a career – a decision that quickly earned him recognition in the wine world. Today, the winery is run with dedication by Hans himself, together with his son Michael, who are carrying on the family legacy with a spirit of innovation and experience.

Schwarz WEISS Cuvée blends 80 per cent Chardonnay and 20 per cent Grüner Veltliner into a finely balanced composition. The wine is aged for 12 months, with one-third maturing in new Burgundy barrels and two-thirds in used ones. Once matured, the wine is gently bottled and sealed with a natural cork to ensure its quality and longevity.

Tasting Note

A medium yellow-green colour with silvery highlights in the glass. On the nose, notes of yellow fruit, subtle cloves and cardamom. Complex on the palate, with exotic nuances, creamy caramel and sweet honey. A long-lasting and powerful finish.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C

Pairs superbly with Wiener schnitzel, fried chicken, boiled beef and creamy dishes.
