The Valdubón winery, founded in 1997, is situated in Milagros, near Aranda de Duero, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. The main grape varieties – Tinta del País (Tempranillo), Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, which produce powerful wines with great character. Sustainability plays a central role: a water treatment plant protects the Riaza and Duero river basins, 500 solar panels provide energy, and collected rainwater is used for irrigation. In 2023, Bodegas Valdubón was recognised as the most award-winning winery in the Ferrer Wines Group – a testament to the consistent quality and excellence of its wines.

Valdubón Crianza is a full-bodied and elegant red wine from the famous Ribera del Duero wine region. Made from 100 per cent Tempranillo grapes that ripen under optimal conditions, this Crianza reflects the region’s exceptional terroir. Following careful harvesting and vinification, Valdubón Crianza is aged for at least 12 months in American and French oak barrels before undergoing further ageing in the bottle. It is then bottled and sealed with a natural cork.

It has an ageing potential of at least 12 months, during which time it develops its aromas to perfection.

Tasting Note

Garnet red with violet highlights in the glass. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as blackberries and black cherries, accompanied by subtle notes of vanilla and toast. Well-structured on the palate with well-integrated acidity, accompanied by dark chocolate, spices and a hint of toasted oak. A long-lasting finish.

Serving temperature: 16–18 °C

An ideal accompaniment to grilled meat, hearty stews and game dishes. It pairs particularly well with lamb chops, beef steaks or Iberian ham.
