The Bodegas Valdubón winery, founded in 1997, is located in Milagros, near Aranda de Duero, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. The main grape varieties Tinta del País (Tempranillo), Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon thrive on 155 hectares, producing powerful wines with a strong character. Sustainability plays a central role: a water treatment plant protects the Riaza and Duero river basins, 500 solar panels provide energy and collected rainwater is used for irrigation. In 2023, Bodegas Valdubón was recognised as the most award-winning winery in the Ferrer Wines Group - proof of the consistent quality and excellence of the wines.

Valdubón Crianza is a powerful and elegant red wine from the famous Ribera del Duero wine region. Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes that ripen under optimal conditions, this Crianza reflects the exceptional terroir of the region. After careful harvesting and vinification, the Valdubón Crianza matures for at least 12 months in American and French oak barrels before undergoing additional bottle ageing. It is then bottled and sealed with a natural cork.

It has a maturation potential of at least 12 months, during which it develops its flavours perfectly.

Tasting Note

Garnet red with violet reflections in the glass. Intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as blackberries and black cherries on the nose, accompanied by fine vanilla and roasted notes. Well-structured on the palate with a well-integrated acidity, accompanied by dark chocolate, spices and a hint of toasted oak. Long lasting on the finish.

Drinking temperature: 16-18 °C

An ideal accompaniment to grilled meat, hearty stews and game dishes. It harmonises particularly well with lamb chops, beef steaks or Iberian ham.
