The Isautier distillery on the island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean is renowned for producing Rhum Agricole from fresh sugar cane juice, manufactured under French supervision. Although Rhum Agricole is appreciated worldwide, molasses rum or ‘Rum Traditionnel’ is often held in higher regard. Isautier uses both types of rum not only for classic cocktails but also for creating special liqueurs.

A notable example is the Isautier Arrange Ginger Lemon liqueur, which is based on Rhum Agricole and has been available since 2016. Despite its name, which is reminiscent of gin, this liqueur is made from high-quality Isautier rum and refined with natural ingredients such as ginger and lemon. Isautier’s Arrangé Linie, which also includes the Isautier Arrangé Exotic, stands for creative and uniquely flavoured liqueurs that set themselves apart from traditional rum punches.

Tasting Note

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Fresh, with notes of ginger.

Palate: Sweet, fresh, with hints of ginger and lime.
