Tasting Note

Colour: Deep amber with golden highlights.

Nose: Intense notes of dark molasses, toasted wood, exotic spices and a hint of smoke.

Palate: Powerful and full-bodied with flavours of caramel, vanilla, dark chocolate and spicy oak, accompanied by subtle notes of dried fruit.

Finish: Lang, warming and complex with a harmonious blend of sweet, spicy and slightly smoky notes.

The Silver Seal Old Navy Rum Edition 2022 reveals its flavours best when enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to round off the robust notes. It pairs superbly with dark chocolate, roasted nuts or mature cheese. It also reveals its full sophistication when paired with a full-bodied cigar or a strong espresso. Those wishing to use it in cocktails can enjoy it in a classic Rum Old Fashioned or a Navy Grog to realise its full potential.
