For 20 years, William Grant had dreamt of making the ‘best whisky in the valley’.

With the help of his family, he finally realised his dream in the summer of 1886.

Glenfiddich is Gaelic and means ‘Valley of the Deer’.

The Glenfiddich Time Series comprises a total of three exceptional single malt whiskies. These exquisite whiskies have been matured over decades, giving them a wealth of flavours.

Glenfiddich 40 Time Series No. 18 was produced using the Remnant Vatting process, in which the remnants of the previous batch are reused and blended with the casks. Glenfiddich is the only distillery to use this process to produce exceptional whiskies.

The single malt itself is presented through a bold and unconventional depiction of a geological metamorphosis. The decanter is housed in a container and sealed with a Jesmonite stopper – making each piece truly unique.

Tasting Note

Colour: Dark mahogany.

Nose: Complex, dried fruit, ripe cherries, dark chocolate, roasted coffee.

Palate: Luxurious, full-bodied, silky smooth, dried fruit, apple compote, raisins, oak notes, dark chocolate.

Finish: Long-lasting, complex, memorable.
