Rum Nation produces rums from various countries and regions, with each bottling reflecting the unique characteristics of its country of origin. In 1999, Rum Nation Rare Rums was launched to showcase particularly rare and high-quality rums. These bottlings are produced by the independent bottler Rossi & Rossi in Italy, which is renowned for its expertise and high standards of quality.

This molasses-based rum is distilled at the Savanna Distillery in a double wooden pot still, which gives it its distinctive depth. After distillation, it is first matured in cognac casks before being finished in refill Oloroso sherry casks, which lends it additional complexity. As the bottlings are neither coloured nor sweetened, the rum is preserved in its natural form. With a limited edition of just 1,278 bottles, this bottling is aimed particularly at collectors and connoisseurs.
