For this Glenfiddich 15 Years Solera, selected whiskies are first matured separately in ex-bourbon casks, sherry casks and virgin oak casks. They are then blended together in a unique Solera vat made of Oregon pine, which is never completely emptied. This process ensures a particularly harmonious blend of flavours and gives the single malt Scotch whisky its exceptional depth and complexity.

The Glenfiddich 15 Years Solera is balanced, elegant and multi-layered, with the typical Speyside fruitiness and a subtle spiciness derived from cask maturation. Colour: Warm gold with amber highlights.

Nose: Honey, ripe fruit, vanilla, cinnamon and subtle sherry notes.

Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, with honey, raisins, baked apples, vanilla, spices and a hint of oak.

Finish: Long and rounded, with sweet spices, oak and fruity notes, lingering on the palate.

Glenfiddich 15 Solera Single Malt Scotch Whisky pairs superbly with mature hard cheeses such as Comté, Gruyère or Parmigiano Reggiano, as its honey and fruit notes perfectly complement the nutty flavours of the cheese. This Speyside single malt also pairs beautifully with desserts such as apple strudel, nut cake, crème brûlée or dark chocolate.
