Bellamy's Reserve Rum Meets Ruby Port is an exclusive bottling that combines Caribbean rum with the elegance of a Portuguese ruby port finish. As part of the limited Bellamy's Reserve range from spirits retailer Perola, this rum stands for hand-picked barrel finishes and exceptional flavour experiences.

For this special edition, premium Caribbean rum was carefully selected and initially matured in classic oak barrels. Bellamy's Reserve Rum Meets Ruby Port then underwent a final refinement in former Ruby Port wine barrels, developing a unique balance between spicy wood, sweet fruity notes and fine oak spice. At 45% vol., it has a pleasant strength that brings out its flavours wonderfully.

This is a limited bottling of 1,241 bottles.

Tasting Note

Colour: Warm mahogany with reddish reflections.

Nose: Intense notes of dark berries, dried fruit, vanilla and spicy oak.

Flavour: Full-bodied and velvety with nuances of red fruits, caramel, chocolate and a fine spiciness.

Finish: Long-lasting, slightly dry with sweet fruit flavours and subtle wood and nutty notes.

Bellamy's Reserve Rum Meets Ruby Port is ideal for drinking neat or with a few drops of water to bring out the deep fruit flavours even more. It harmonises perfectly with dark chocolate, mature cheese or dried fruit. It also unfolds its refined flavour in a rum old fashioned with a port wine twist or a velvety Manhattan rum in a special way.
