The Erlkönig Frizzante 10% ABV 0.2 l is a full-bodied and fruit-forward frizzante from Austria, which impresses with its lively aromas and delicate effervescence. This Austrian frizzante cuvée is made from the Concord, Cabernet Jura, Blauer Wildbacher and Zweigelt grape varieties and matured in stainless steel tanks, with carbon dioxide added specifically to ensure the typical freshness and effervescence of a sparkling wine. The dry style ensures a good balance between fruit and freshness, making this Austrian frizzante an uncomplicated and versatile accompaniment to meals.

With an alcohol content of 10% vol., this Frizzante in a small-format bottle is pleasantly light and easy to drink. The handy 0.2-litre bottle is ideal for spontaneous enjoyment, as a single serving or for when you’re on the go. The wine is ready to drink immediately and has a drinking window of up to approximately two years, during which its fresh and fruity character comes into its own.

Tasting Note

In the glass, it is a pale rosé with a fine effervescence. On the nose, an invigorating aroma of wild berries and redcurrants unfolds, accompanied by a fresh citrus note. On the palate, there is a distinct wild berry flavour with juicy fruit and delicate sweetness, harmoniously balanced and lively. The finish is fruit-driven, round and long-lasting, characterised by lingering berry aromas and a delicate freshness.
