St. Kilian PEATED Single Malt Whisky is an expressive release from the German distillery St. Kilian Distillers, which ranks among Europe’s leading distilleries thanks to its passion, innovative spirit and clear focus on quality. Produced in the small village of Rüdenau in Lower Franconia, this whisky combines traditional Scottish distilling techniques with regional craftsmanship and international standards.
The PEATED Single Malt is a smoky whisky made using peated barley malt from Scotland. This base gives it its distinctive, peaty aroma, characterised by the typical notes of a classic peated whisky. The whisky is matured in a finely balanced combination of bourbon, sherry and other oak casks, which lends it additional complexity, depth and structure.
With an alcohol content of 46 % vol., unfiltered at cold temperatures and retaining its natural colour, this bottling stands for authentic enjoyment and maximum aromatic diversity. The smoky note is clearly present, yet well integrated into a smooth texture and subtle cask-derived flavour. Nose: Peat smoke with vanilla, dark caramel and roasted notes.
