This premium rum embarks on a unique journey that begins in the traditional rum distilleries of the Caribbean and South America and is brought to perfection in Ars, France. Here, it undergoes the tried-and-tested ‘double ageing’ process in decommissioned oak cognac casks, a method that has been prized since the 18th and 19th centuries.

The careful maturation of this rum combines column still and pot still distillation methods. It begins in bourbon casks, where the rum matures for one year and reaches an ester content of 42 g/hL. It then spends four years in FERRAND casks before enjoying a further, final five-year finish in Arran casks. In 2023, this exceptional rum was bottled with no added sugar (0 g/L dosage).
