The world-renowned Plantation Rums impress once again with the Plantation Rum Panama 2010 Single Cask Sherry Finish, an exclusive bottling by delicando. This premium rum combines traditional craftsmanship with innovative finishing, making it a true rarity in the world of fine spirits.

Distilled from the finest raw materials from the Caribbean and South America, this rum reaches the final stage of its maturation in Ars, France. There, it is refined using the traditional ‘double ageing’ process, involving several months’ storage in decommissioned oak Cognac casks – a method with historical roots in the 18th and 19th centuries, renowned for imparting a profound complexity of flavour to the rum.

The journey of Plantation Rum Panama 2010 begins with seven years’ ageing in bourbon casks, which endows it with an ester content of 8 g/hL. Following a further four years of ageing in FERRAND casks, the rum undergoes its final finish in sherry casks, where it rests for over a year. Bottled in 2023 without the addition of dosage, this rum showcases its pure and unadulterated flavours.
